NATURAL RELATIONSHIPS COACHING

Inhaling After A Long Yell

Is it to settle down?

Or to prepare for the next yell?

The book is published. Flesh & blood of treen kin.

I plugged videos & advertised. Friends & family answered the call.

All in all? $200 in royalties earned since publication.

Purchases have crawled to a near-halt—save the singular paperback purchase today

from an unannounced admirer.

I've spent $123.37 on 34 clicks (out of 12,321 "impressions" or ads appearing to the unconsenting eyes of the scroller-by)

An additional...mmm...several hundred on a book-contest-blitz; submitting to 2? 3

different contests? in hope of accolaides in even-the-slightest. 'T'wil' take 'til the

blooming o' th' annuals to know what may come.

6 paperbacks sit on two shelves: Maria's Bookshop & Absolute Bakery & Café's

'local authors' section.

I've reframed this from passive income into a hobby. You don't expect money back from hobbies, you just do them for the fun of it. In part, I'm protecting myself, another part finding enjoyment in surpassing anything I realistically expected.

SO

What to do? What to do?

'spose I ought ta yell a bit more

at OPEN MICS

on SOCIAL MEADYUH

at AS-OF-YET-INSUFFICIENTLY HARRASED FAMILY, ACQUAINTANCES &

STRANGORS

...yes I s'pose I ought.

Whether I yell again -or- pause, it is at my own behest.

u n f o r t u n a t e l y

I've located some errors in my paperback. Arguably small but nobody likes a mosquito bite, either.

Some times like these, I want for a do-over.

In times such as these, I wonder if it can ever truly end in not just good enough but a fffffFFFFFUUUUUUUuuuuuck k k yeah.

perhaps.

perhaps I shan't know until much later in my career.

at least I know I have done my best many times over through breaks and avoidance with this.

perhaps those small errors will bring a smile to nostalgic, simpler times.
